Deniz Nemli Gonen is a data and AI leader with deep expertise in banking, fintech, and e-commerce across international markets. As EVP of AI & Data at Colendi, she leads LLM applications and microcredit risk modeling, driving data strategy to expand financial inclusion.
Previously, she held key roles in banking analytics and risk modeling at Barclays UK, Akbank, and ING Turkey, developing pricing models, customer segmentation strategies, and credit risk automation. At Getir, Turkey’s decacorn superapp, she led data science teams building personalization and recommendation engines across global markets.
A Kaggle Expert in competitions, Deniz holds an M.A. in Economics from Penn State & Boğaziçi and a B.Sc. in Mathematics. She has also published research in NLP, time series clustering, and machine learning applications.
