Opening Keynote Speech / Presentation

Theme: Powering data-driven financial decisions

The pandemic has taught us the importance of data to design future, equitable health and social care systems. Data-driven decision-making is a crucial step in planning, implementing, and monitoring climate change mitigation initiatives.

In the same vein, data-driven finance is not just about optimizing business performance. It is primarily a “way of life” and an evidence-based approach to setting priorities, evaluating performance and making financial decisions that benefit companies and consumers alike. The challenge is to transform the conversation about financial data and actionable insights into a conversation about financial wellness. How do we do that? And how does the credit reporting sector instill the belief that we operate in a fair and legitimate way and deserve, therefore, a social license?
