2022 ACCIS Annual Conference
POWERING ACCESS TO RESPONSIBLE CREDIT
14 June 2022 08:15-16:30 CEST
Auditorium of the National Bank of Belgium,
Rue Montagne aux Herbes Potagères 61, 1000 Brussels
Hybrid Conference
In order to lend responsibly, creditors assess the creditworthiness of consumers. In their assessments, they often use credit data provided by credit reference agencies and tools like credit scores as these allow them to take more accurate decisions in a more objective, fair and non-discriminatory way. Last year, the European Commission published two proposals that will significantly impact the provision of responsible credit in Europe: a review of the Consumer Credit Directive and a framework harmonising rules regarding Artificial Intelligence applications in a wide range of sectors, including finance. The 2022 ACCIS Conference will provide an opportunity for participants to discuss how these two proposals can help power access to responsible credit.
Our Conference will also feature a series of thought-provoking discussions with entrepreneurs and cutting-edge tech innovators about the new credit ecosystem that is emerging and the use of data, analytics and technology in making decisions. We will also discuss the changing needs of users of credit information and the role they will play in the credit ecosystem in the coming years, including their involvement with credit reporting.
